1. Fabric Weight and Thickness

Weight: High-quality PVC canvas usually has a weight between 300 g/m² and 1500 g/m².  A higher weight indicates a thicker base fabric and stronger tear resistance.
Thickness: Thickness is directly proportional to weight. Insufficient thickness can lead to easy punctures and tearing.

2. Coating Integrity and Adhesion

Check if the PVC coating is uniform, free of bubbles, and without delamination. The bonding strength of the coating directly determines its waterproof, oil-resistant, and chemical corrosion resistance properties.

3. Color Fastness and Light Resistance

The color should be uniform and consistent, and should not fade or bleed easily under sunlight or strong light. High-quality products pass ISO/ASTM color fastness tests, ensuring that they retain their original color even after long-term use.

4. Mechanical Properties (Tear Strength, Tensile Strength)

Through tear strength and tensile strength tests, confirm that the fabric will not easily break under stress. High-strength PVC canvas can remain intact in harsh environments such as strong winds and impacts.
